PRC Cardio-Opitc Ltd, an SME located inIsrael, is currently developing a forward visualization guide wire's capsule whosemain aim is to allow navigation and forward looking in coronary or other arteryChronic Total Occlusion ("CTO") and enabling safe moving, steeringand cleaning of such total occlusion.
Project Introduction:
The core proved technology is based on a developmentof a special Photo Acoustic sensor that will be integrated with other imagingand cleaning methods. By using the patents based technology the system is capableof deep blood vessel imaging for clogging and wall detection and safe removalpurposes. The opening and cleaning system will be integrated with the imagingahead into occluded artery, aiming to process either the available non heatingsafe laser and / or using micro mechanic technology.
